Dr. Husban Shahid, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Shahid was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, Texas, where he graduated Valedictorian from Mount Pleasant High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at UT Dallas and earned a Masterβs degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M College of Dentistry.
Dr. Shahid is committed to delivering high-quality, modern, and comfortable dental care. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and provides sedation for patients who experience dental anxiety or require more complex treatment. His approach focuses on precision, patient education, and building long-term relationships based on trust.
Outside of the office, Dr. Shahid enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with loved ones. He is excited to serve the community and looks forward to helping his patients at Parkfield Dental achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Dr. Jia Kim, DMD
Dentist
Dr. Jia is a passionate dentist dedicated to helping patients feel at ease and confident in their smiles. She earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. With a strong clinical foundation, Dr. Jia provides comprehensive care with a focus on family dentistry, cosmetic treatments, and extractions.
Known for a gentle approach and clear communication style, Dr. Jia prioritizes patient comfort while making sure patients fully understand their treatment options. By taking a holistic approach, Dr. Jia develops personalized treatment plans that support long-term oral health and help patients achieve confident, healthy smiles.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jia enjoys traveling with family and friends, playing badminton, and running.
Dr. Krishan Patel, DDS, MBA
Dentist
Dr. Patel has an extensive dental background and is passionate about providing high-quality and convenient dental healthcare for all of his patients. Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Patel's interest in improving and innovating the delivery of dental services led him to pursue an MBA education to add to his dental background.
Outside of the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching football, and has recently started a vegetable garden.
Cynthia Rosas, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist
Cynthia is driven to provide her patients with great dental care and comfortable, personable experiences. She regularly attends continuing education courses to keep up with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and is excited to use this knowledge to ensure her patients are getting the best care.
Cynthia graduated with honors from Coastal Bend College with a degree in Dental Hygiene of Applied Sciences.
